Ugh, Dry January. Even the phrase sounds depressing. How do you feel about taking a month off booze in January? Does it fill you with joy and delight or with dread and misery? Taking a month off booze is never a bad thing and the fact that many people do Dry January will help you enormously because you of course, won’t be the only one. However, this alcohol-free month for many can feel like a boring, cold, month of abstinence and deprivation.

In my experience, January is a fantastic time to not drink and can actually be an amazing opportunity to give your body and soul what it really craves, peace, freedom, a chance to reset and really rethink about your relationship with alcohol.
But you have to start from a place of positivity which is often not how we approach it. In this week’s podcast I want to help you to reframe your thoughts about Dry January so it doesn’t become a month of lack which you make up for on February first with a big old binge.
Instead I am going to help you feel excited, inspired and actually looking forward to a glorious month of alcohol-freedom and who knows, maybe even longer. I am going to help you to see this as the wonderful opportunity that it is, to put yourself first and start living your life as the free, happy, inspired and empowered alcohol-free person you have been dreaming of.
I am going to share with you my favourite tips and strategies that I use every single day to stay positive, strong and feeling good. This is not going to be a Dry January, this is going to be a Joyful January.
